There was almost nonstop heavy road reconstruction going on in between Rosarito and TJ. It seemed like not matter what hour you went through there was a dust cloud and slower moving traffic. During one of those noonish hour we happened to drive through on the way to TJ and the car full of Crosthwaites and me noticed and remarked enthusiastically on one of the hard hat wearing workers who had added the protection of a wide cardboard brim to his head gear. From a distance it looked like safety helmet sombrero!
