all clean?

it might not seem like much to those of you under snow during this time of the year, but a few extra inches of rain around these parts of the south west can be extremely dangerous. i had never been nervous about a bit of hard rain before experiencing it here. and i had reason to be! homes were destroyed. one person even died! ...everything washes away- for better or worse. Family Land

I thought it more than fitting that we should visit the oldest cemetery in Rosartio. It is entirely a family plot because of all the intermarriages. It was a trash pile from celebratory remnants of November 2nd's Day of the Dead. The tombs were falling apart and dogs over ran the place, but to me the place was beautiful. The dead weren't kept away like museum pieces. The area was sacred but accessible like you wouldn't feel that it was taboo to shout and laugh at stupid jokes. And there was no lock on the gate. More cemeteries should be like this. See and download the full gallery on posterous Posted via email from Sacapuntas tm

Jelly Trophies -from San Diego

standing and waiting at the cross walk men thinking they are safe in their personal car space they turn their heads to look at me standing and waiting necks torquing one after the other and i clearly blare glares through their window glass little do they conceive- i have just snapped their thick necks and taken their eyes right out of their heads while seeming to stand car-lessly exposed women pass in their personal car space eyes safely on the road while jelly trophies from men squelch on the roadside under my heel Posted via email from Sacapuntas tm

El Rocco's Great Adventure

The Human wasn't expecting to be tracking and wresting a full grown mut of a dog back into his proper yard on that day, but El Rocco insisted on getting out and having himself some mischief. He called and commanded. El Rocco just ignored him and freely gallivanted around the lot. Mama said he would just come back on his own, but we didn't want to take any chances with him attacking anyone or going off too far. He is a great guard dog, I think.. I mean, he is always attacking me.. I have a rip in my coat sleeve to prove it! Eventually, he will get used to me being around. One of these days. Backtrack Dos- San Diego

december 11tth was my debut performance on the west coast. how was it? guacamole and crisps! -not a piece of cake. there was no cake. it was a full day's performance about 5 hours- not including breaks- at Noel-Baza Fine Art and afterward about another hour and a half photo-shoot at Josue Castro's studio a block or so away. i just did my thing and at the end they were all giving me applause. there were three of us artists at work for this event but at the end the other two stood aside and left me there kind of awkwardly taking the ovation. come on guys! it wasn't just me... i was well far away way beyond exhaustion after the photo-shoot. in the perfect condition to do a real butoh performance! i could feel the lack of control beginning to overwhelm me. i could have done anything with that erratic energy and then i would have keeled over. ka-pooot there are so many california hard bodies around there, but not one of them would do what i did on saturday. would any of them do

Green in Relation

There is no car wash business in the United States of America that I can think of where they will hand wash your vehicle and serve you tea while you wait. I don't know why we bothered to get the car washed anyway. The old saying held so very true. It rained afterward. And rained. Sea Birds

Off the Ocean Beach pier there was a right big lunch time feeding frenzy going on for the birds and about four porpoises/dolphins. See and download the full gallery on posterous Posted via email from Sacapuntas tm
