it might not seem like much to those of you under snow during this time of the year, but a few extra inches of rain around these parts of the south west can be extremely dangerous. i had never been nervous about a bit of hard rain before experiencing it here. and i had reason to be! homes were destroyed. one person even died! ...everything washes away- for better or worse.
